April 20, 2025 - Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful service to celebrate Easter! We also celebrated a baptism for an adorable boy who is so loved. It was a very special morning!


April 16, 2025 - Sleep In Heavenly Peace

Mayflower members donated items for Sleep In Heavenly Peace to be used for beds for children. We are grateful to be able to donate to a cause that directly impacts children.


April 16, 2025 - Mildred Anderson Grant

Sheena received a grant from the Junior League for $1,500. The money will be used to help fund our Mayflower Food Giveaway. We are so grateful for the money to sustain our largest outreach in the community!


April 5, 2025 - Backpack Program at Siouxland Food Bank

Mayflower volunteers filled backpacks for school children at the Siouxland Food Bank. It was gratifying to know we were helping children have enough to eat on the weekends!


May 30, 2025 - Faces of Siouxland Multicultural Event

Mayflower participated in this Siouxland event to learn about and celebrate the different cultures that make up our community.


March 15, 2025 - Mayflower Food Giveaway

The Mayflower Food Giveaway is our largest mission. Mayflower members and friends hand out bags of food to guests in drive-up or walk-up lines. We are grateful to be able to help ease food insecurity a little bit each month for our guests.


February 9, 2025 - Typical Sunday

These are pictures from a typical Sunday at Mayflower. We are a fun, lively group that values friendship and fellowship. Our 2 new members fit right in!


January 24, 2025 - Siouxland Soup Kitchen Servers

This merry group served dinner at the Soup Kitchen. They had fun mingling with guests, and the staff. They all prayed for care and support for the guests on this cold, cold night.


December 7 - Tour of Steeples

Mayflower was one of 12 Sioux City churches that opened its doors for others to visit between 10:00 - 2:00. The Open House was fun! Some of our members shared nativity sets, and Linda created a scavenger hunt for guests. We had fun sharing our beautiful church with our visitors!


December 4 - Mr. and Mrs. Santa

Vickie and Mike (Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus) spread cheer at the Railroad Museum during the Christmas season! We are proud of them for their commitment to spread joy at Christmas and always!


November 15 - Food Donation

These grandparents and their sweet grandchildren donated a bounty of food! The food was a wondrous gift for a special family during the Thanksgiving season. We were grateful for their donation!


October 28 - Halloween Fun and Service Project

The youth had fun creating faces in their pumpkins! Then they bagged up treats to take to the Warming Shelter for their holiday service project.


October 28, 2024 - Special Welcome

Mayflower Church members sent out a special message that all are welcome to worship with us at our beautiful church.


September 22 - Pet Blessing

Todd gave special blessings to our furry friends. Cindy Sue’s dog, Tankie Toodles, enjoyed the special attention from Todd and the rest of the congregation.


September 15 - Baptism

We celebrated the baptism for a very special child. We love all children and gave this beautiful girl our blessings.


September 8, 2024 - Backpack Blessings

Todd gave each student a card with a special reminder that their Mayflower family wishes them well as they embark on a new year of learning. He asked them to keep the card in their backpacks to look at from time to time. Todd then gave special blessings to the students for a fulfilling year ahead.


September 5, 2024 - Garden Party

Linda hosted a garden party in her backyard to kickoff the beginning of a new year of faith, learning, and friendship at Mayflower. Delicious snacks, lawn games, and conversation made this a fun evening for all!


June 23, 2024 - 100th Year Rededication Celebration

We celebrated the 100th year anniversary of being at our current building at 1407 W. 18th St. We started the morning with coffee and doughnuts while looking at artifacts from the past 100 years. Then we had a magnificent worship service. Finally, we had a luncheon where people were invited to share stories of memories of the years at Mayflower. We plan to adjust our anchors and sails as Mayflower moves ahead into the future.
